Websites have evolved and whether you’re selling goods online or using your site to drive traffic to your bricks and mortar location, your internet presence needs to be exactly that: a presence. A basic eCommerce platform or landing page listing your services is no longer enough if you want to stay competitive; you need compelling content.
When executed properly, good content engages your prospective clients and provides them with the information they are looking for; and increases the likelihood that they will choose you for the goods or services they are seeking. This is because quality content that provides answers reinforces the idea that YOU know your subject and are an authority or expert in your area.
To create valuable content however, you first need to find out what it is that visitors to your website are looking for, and then present that content to them in a format that delivers your message in an appropriate way. This could be through web page content, instructional videos, blog posts and articles, eBooks, or white papers.
